Formed in 2010, L'Envie is an initiative of Hadrien Guenin led by the strong desire to put his words into music. The band underwent several changes: if it used to be based on traditional rock, L'Envie, atypically composed of a singer/guitarist, a violoncellist and a drummer,  has taken a further alternative shift. The objective was to create a unique musical identity by combining artists with distinct musical backgrounds and influences.

After more than 70 concert and with the help of Hadrien’s charisma and Lucien and Simon’s musical mastery, the band achieved their intended purpose:  create a singular, dark and poetic atmosphere that, somehow, reminds us on stage Noir Désir’s striking presence.
